RCIA is a process for welcoming newcomers (inquirers) into the Catholic Church. The RCIA is a COMMUNITY journey that leads to a transformation of mind and spirit. Guided by the Gospel and by the examples set by church members, newcomers can find their place in the community of believers. RCIA is a PERSONAL journey in which church members reexamine their own relationship with God. The enthusiastic and joyous response of newcomers to the discovery of Christ in their lives can spark renewed faith in the lives of other church members. It is important that every member of the church community understand the purpose of RCIA and join in assisting prospective Catholics in their journey to become active members of our Church If you are unbaptized and seeking to join a faith, or if you are an "unchurched" Catholic who wishes further instruction, don't wait any longer. Call the rectory at 410-648-5145 and inquire into the RCIA program. Visit the rectory and arrange for a tour of the church.
